Humans Have Failed This Abandoned Pup Too Many Times! Rescuers Step In And Give The Pup Hope!
By Victoria Lange
When Bali Rescue Dog Squad found Hope, she had been neglected, malnourished, and left to fend for herself. According to the rescuers, Hope had been abandoned three-weeks prior to her rescue. She and her seven siblings had been abandoned on the side of a road with no food or water in sight. It was a hopeless situation for the pups that were only around four-months old. According to witnesses, Hope was the only one of eight puppies that survived their abandonment. But it wasn’t starvation that took Hope’s siblings away from her, each of her siblings were, unfortunately, involved in road accidents that they did not survive.
Hope had gotten the short end of the stick when it came to human interaction. Humans had failed her multiple times. First with her abandonment and then with all those that passed her, and her siblings, by without stopping to lend aid. That is until the lead rescuer from the Bali Rescue Dog Squad, Alison Gray, spotted Hope when she was on her way to go to an ATM. Instead of continuing on her way, the Alison abandoned her errands to help Hope. She went a picked up some food to see if Hope was responsive. When she got closer, she noticed that Hope was starving, suffering from scabies, and in desperate need for help. After feeding Hope for a while, Alison went back to the Bali Rescue Dog Squad Safe House to get the supplies she needed to rescue Hope.
With supplies in hand and a rescue team behind her, the Alison went back out to search for Hope. She found Hope curled up in an old bucket. After giving a Hope a sedative to calm her down, the Alison and her team were able to get Hope out of her hiding spot and bring her to safety. Once at the Safe House, they started Hope on the long journey that is her recovery.
Thanks to Alison and those apart of the Bali Rescue Dog Squad, Hope is now receiving the care and attention that she needs to recover from her time living on the streets. She has food to eat, a safe place to call home, and bright looking future waiting for her.
